This is the 1984 compilation album Exorcising Ghosts by the British band Japan. It is a career-spanning "Best of" album, compiled in consultation with lead singer David Sylvian after the band dissolved in 1982. The original double LP and cassette editions contained 16 tracks, featuring recordings from their albums Quiet Life, Gentlemen Take Polaroids, and Tin Drum. The cover art is a painting by artist Russell Mills, which reportedly impressed Sylvian so much that he bought the original.
