I visited OC Chief Auto in Riverside on October 18th 2025 to purchase a vehicle and worked with a salesperson who was genuinely kind, professional, and eager to help. He was very new to the role, which showed at times, especially when we got into the finance portion of the contract. While he did his best, he wasn’t able to clearly explain several of the fees that appeared on the paperwork.

If you plan on buying a car here, or anywhere, make sure you read every line of your contract and verify the details yourself. When I reviewed the agreement closely, I found several junk fees and unnecessary add-ons included, roughly $1000 worth, in the purchase price that had not been clearly explained upfront.

The sales experience itself was positive, but the finance process required a lot of scrutiny. Always protect yourself by double-checking everything before you sign.

Ernie was the consummate professional during our 7 HOUR negation on our 2018 Tesla model 3. He even stayed after closing to help us with all the particulars, setting up the phone key, explaining all the features of the ride, even celebrating us. He has an obsession with customer satisfaction and closing deals for people that are serious about teslas. He wasn’t pushy AT ALL and let us have our lay of the land and was very generous with a test drive (an hour at least). Friendly, professional, and treated us like family. I would buy another Tesla from them tomorrow
