Description
This is a 1(contact info removed) Brunelot French carriage clock featuring a gilded brass case. The case includes a matching handle and five beveled glass panels, with a oval viewing aperture on the top plate. The white enamel dial is marked with black Roman numerals and numbers and blued steel hands. The rear hinged door reveals a mechanical 8-day movement with a bell-striking mechanism. The movement sounds the hours and half-hours on an internal polished bell and includes a push-repeat function activated by a button on the top of the case. Both the backplate and base plate are stamped with the matching serial number 2235 which indicates an early batch production run from the maker. This is an unmarked piece (or at least I can’t find a Mark) but Google lens tells me it is An antique late-19th-century French brass carriage clock by Brunelot with an alarm. Located near Central Avenue in Northern in Phoenix 85020
