Vintage- Selling a classic, highly reliable Jet JWL-1236 woodworking lathe. This is the sought-after vintage model featuring a heavy, solid cast-iron bed and headstock—built much better than modern aluminum or plastic machines. Condition: Excellent, clean condition. It has been well-maintained and has absolutely NO RUST on the cast-iron bed or components. The motor runs strong and quiet. Specifications & Features: Capacities: 12-inch swing over the bed (max bowl diameter) and 36 inches between centers for spindle turning. Motor: Heavy-duty 3/4 HP motor (runs on standard 115V household outlets). Speed Control: Mechanical Reeves variable speed drive (450 to 3,000 RPM). Changes speeds smoothly. Swivel Headstock: The headstock rotates a full 360 degrees, allowing you to turn large bowls outward off the side of the machine. Spindle Size: Standard 1" x 8 TPI threads with #2 Morse Taper (MT-2). This fits almost all modern, standard chucks and accessories on the market today. Includes: Original factory steel stand legs and the tool rest assembly.
