Briefcase Backpack - Chrome Industries

This is a laptop bag / briefcase bag from Chrome Industries, with three carry methods: handle, shoulder strap, or backpack straps. The laptop compartment is thickly padded and very secure. It can fit a 15” laptop no problem. I think it can also fit 17” snugly. The main compartment is roomy and has organizing pockets for chargers, pens, etc. On the front is a small zip compartment with integrated keyring strap. The backpack straps can be stowed in a zip compartment on the back. This bag was also customized at the old Chrome Ind. workshop in Pioneer Square. It has an additional attachable buckle strap. Using the shoulder strap + buckle strap, you can wear the bag sling-style / crossbody while cycling and it will not swing or slide around to your front. (Chrome’s popular Kadet sling bag comes standard with this feature.) Chrome bags are VERY durable. The zippers have waterproof features, and I believe the body material is an extra thick ripstop nylon. I wouldn’t be parting with this bag if I didn’t need to downsize. It looks more “grown up” than a typical backpack and is bound to last for years of heavy use. Pickup is in east Capitol Hill, near Miller Park.
