KLH Model Four Speaker

This is a vintage antique collectible KLH Model Four 4 Two-Way speaker. It's an acoustic suspension with a ten inch woofer with rolled cloth surround and two cone tweeters. These were used in the CBS studio according to a few posts on the Internet. They're 16 ohm and ideally suited to higher power tube amps. This speaker is still working. The cabinet is not in particularly good shape. It's also not too bad. These were made in the late 1950's into the 1960's and are collectible and reasonably well regarded. They are a part of the Northeast audio innovation of the 1960's that revolutionized loudspeaker technology in the infinite baffle acoustic suspension design. Set it up with a monophonic vacuum tube amplifier and a mono 78 RPM photograph. That's what I was planning to do.
