Sealy Cherbourg III Ultra Plush Queen Pillowtop Mattress

Queen Mattress and Box Spring The Sealy Posturepedic Cherbourg III Ultra Plush Pillow Top is a high-comfort innerspring mattress designed for sleepers who prefer an "ultra-soft" or cloud-like feel. Part of Sealy's Posturepedic line, it is frequently cited for its deep pressure relief and specialized support for the lower back and core. Key Features and Construction This model is built with multiple layers of cushioning and a robust coil system to balance softness with support. Pillow Top Comfort: Features a thick, additional layer of soft cushioning sewn to the top, providing a plush initial feel that conforms to the body. SealyFoam & Memory Foam: Typically includes 3.5 inches of SuperSoft SealyFoam and a layer of memory foam, often concentrated in the center third of the mattress to support the heaviest part of the body. PostureTech™ Coils: Utilizes twice-tempered coils that are designed to respond to body weight and provide deep back support. Solid Edge™ HD System: A foam-encased perimeter that provides a solid seating edge and allows you to use the full surface of the mattress without feeling like you might roll off. Performance and Sleeper Recommendations Reviewers and testers from sources like The Mattress Factory and GoodBed note specific performance characteristics for this type of ultra-plush model: Side Sleepers: According to Mattress Firm, the "ultra plush" level is ideal for side sleepers because the extra padding relieves pressure on the hips and shoulders. Back Sleepers: Experts at Sleepopolis note that back sleepers who enjoy a softer feel will benefit from the targeted lumbar support provided by the reinforced center. Stomach Sleepers: Generally not recommended for stomach sleepers, who typically require a firmer surface to prevent the hips from sinking and maintain spinal alignment. Motion Isolation: The combination of foam and individual coil response helps reduce motion transfer, making it a viable option for couples. Available Dimensions Based on standard Sealy specifications, this mattress is commonly available in the following sizes: Queen: 60" x 79"
