Original Varaz Samuelian Monumental Painting — Approx. 4 × 10 Ft — $6,000

Original Varaz Samuelian Monumental Painting — Approx. 4 × 10 Ft — $6,000 Offered from a private collection is an impressive large-scale original painting by Armenian-American artist Varaz Samuelian (1917–1995), a longtime and prominent figure in the Fresno, California art community. Measuring approximately 4 × 10 feet (exact measurements to be confirmed), this is a commanding statement piece featuring a dramatic stylized bird/eagle rendered in Samuelian’s bold geometric vocabulary. Brilliant orange, red, yellow, white and black create an exceptionally strong composition that has tremendous presence in person. The painting is an original work—not a print or reproduction—and is signed “Varaz” in the lower-right corner. Samuelian was an Armenian-born American painter and sculptor who established himself in Fresno and became known for both painting and monumental sculpture. His legacy is particularly associated with California’s Central Valley and the Armenian-American artistic community. Because of its unusually large scale, distinctive imagery and strong visual impact, this would make an exceptional centerpiece for a serious private collection, gallery, restaurant, hotel, cultural institution, office or large contemporary residence. $6,000 Serious inquiries only. Additional photographs, signature details and exact measurements can be provided. Due to the size of the work, local inspection/pickup can be arranged. Approximate dimensions are currently estimated at 4 × 10 ft and will be verified.
