This beautiful table lamp from Apsit Brothers of California is a true vintage piece from 1987. It features a nautical design with a sailor and anchor theme, hand-painted on chalkware material. The lamp is corded electric and has a knob control style. It measures 29 1/2 inches in height, this lamp is perfect for any collector or lover of nautical decor. It is UL wet listed and manufactured by Apsit Brothers Company in the United States. Add a touch of history and art to your home with this stunning piece. Apsit Brothers of California is famous for theme-based unique table lamps. The brothers are both gone now and the company isn’t producing new works. But they let behind quite a legacy. One of them is this very RARE table lamp produced in 1987. Boasting very fine details and etching. The coiled rope looks like rough-hewn strands intertwined. Facial features on the sailor are clear and fine, including his mustache. Even the wooden liquor barrel is detailed, lines looking like real engrained wood. Infront of the sailor/fisherman sits a very large anchor. And there is also a very friendly seal visiting. The Lamp is in excellent working condition and in near perfect condition. Light bulb not included.
