Vintage Argus C3 “Match-Matic” Rangefinder Camera & Argus LC3 Lightmeter

Vintage Argus C3 "Match-Matic" Rangefinder 35mm Camera with Cintar 50mm f/3.5 Lens ("The Brick") - Clean/Tested • Color: Black and Beige • Mechanical Condition: No signs of corrosion inside body of camera. Shutter cock functions properly. Shutter release works on "Instantaneous" and "Bulb". Shutter remains open while depressing shutter release on "bulb" setting. Shutter blades look clean and expand/retract smoothly. Speed setting appear to be working properly with slower speeds at 4-5 ('scene" setting") and faster speeds at 6-8 ('action" setting). • Cosmetic Condition: Glass looks clean. No signs of fungus. Camera appears to be in good cosmetic condition with some signs of wear due to use and age. Please note there's a mark on the beige leather, on back of the camera, caused by the leather camera case. Chrome is in very good condition. Some aluminum components (dials, lens) do show signs of wear. (Please see photos.) • Argus LC3 Light Meter (Shoe-Mounted): Selenium Light meter responds to light and is in excellent cosmetic condition. Needle moves freely based on lighting conditions. • Flash: Attachable flash appears to be in good condition, but is untested. There is no sign of corrosion in the battery compartment and no signs of rust in the bulb attachment mechanism. Dish does show some signs of wear. • Argus Leather Camera Case: Considering age, camera case is in good condition on the outside, but please note there is significant staining on the inside, bottom attachment. It appears to be stained with old glue originally used to bind the felt to the leather.
