These high-quality chairs were custom upholstered in Kravet striped fabric, documented on the original Designmaster production label as “COM-KRAVET.” The sophisticated multicolor stripe combines warm rust, terracotta, gold, olive, brown and cream tones. The original production paperwork further identifies the upholstery as approximately 10.5 yards of Kravet COM fabric, with the stripes specifically ordered to run vertically (“STRIPES GO UP”). The careful pattern placement and matching are evident throughout the backs, arms, cushions and welted edges. These chairs appear to have seen very little use. The Kravet upholstery is remarkably clean and well preserved, retaining rich color and crisp tailoring. The piping/welting remains well defined, the cushions retain their shape, and the striped fabric shows excellent alignment. No significant stains, tears, holes or upholstery damage observed.
