Description
In the vintage world, this is an endangered species; Midcentury Raymon Bellini Very Large Pottery Vase: Often mistaken for Bitossi, Bellini was also a very famous ceramist in the Midcentury. Known for his vibrant blue and floral works. These are extremely hard to find and once people have one in their possession, they are very reluctant to give up their find unless their price is met and these go for a lot. I’m just bracing you for the inevitable if you are serious about getting this. It measures 13.5” H with a 6” in Diameter opening at the top. The colors are flawless. The blue chosen for this vase is other worldly - no exaggeration. The gold floral motif is classic late 60s-early 70s. It’s beyond groovy. These do go for about $140 to $175 online but there is about a $75-$100 shipping fee attached to that base price. I’m asking $150. If you don’t think that’s not a deal, you’re very confused. I do not mean this as an insult but these are not easy to come by. In 25+ years, I have seen and bought only four of these and in all seriousness, $150 is nothing for this. Now you may get lucky and find one of these tomorrow at your favorite thrift store -I don’t rule anything out - or you just message the guy that has one now. Please consult one of my other ads for all the particulars or just message me for more information. Please feel free to follow me where we procure the obscure and seek the unique.
