Stunning Midcentury Impressionistic Painting of a Mother and Child in a Cool Wood Frame: To be completely honest with you, I do not know the actual medium the artist used to achieve the look this art has. It looks like crumpled paper adhered to a board and then painted with ink outlines. There is no signature that I can readily see. It’s definitely Midcentury. That awesome wood frame attests to this. The colors look almost iridescent and you can literally feel the love this painting exudes between the mother and her child. There is a small stain on the bottom right side of the matte but all in all this is a lovely example of Midcentury Impressionism. Measures 24 x 28.5. Asking an incredibly fair $125. I do believe you could flip this for a definite profit but the way it works is that I make my money first so you can make yours.
