Description

This is a beautiful limited edition fine porcelain vase titled "The Woodland Bird Vase", produced by Franklin Porcelain in 1981. It features a detailed illustration of a European Goldfinch perched among flowering apple blossoms, designed by the highly acclaimed British wildlife artist Basil Ede. Details: Hand-decorated fine white porcelain with a 24-karat gold-banded rim. Crafted in Japan. Dimensions: Stands approximately 11.5 to 12 inches tall and 6 inches at its widest point. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or paint wear. The gold trim is bright and intact. The full maker's mark and artist signature are present on the base. There is a small orange mark near the base, which can be seen in the pictures.
