Selling my 2005 Honda Civic EX Special Edition. Car runs and drives. I’ve never had any major problems with it and I’m mainly selling because I’m ready to get something newer. 🔧 Parts/work replaced: • Engine mounts • Lower control arms • CV axle • Front brake pads & rotors • Alternator • New battery • Power steering pump • Power steering hoses • Fuel pump • VTEC-related parts/work serviced/replaced 🎵 Extras: • New touchscreen stereo with Apple CarPlay • Stereo sounds good • Backup camera included, but I never got around to hooking it up • Tint all around 📍 Mileage / Engine & Transmission: Dashboard shows 290,000 miles on the chassis. When I bought the car, I was told the engine and transmission had been replaced and had around 135,000 miles at that time. I do not know the current exact mileage on the replacement engine/transmission. ⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE MESSAGING: Check engine light is currently on with the following codes: • P2646 • P0442 • P060A Because of the check engine light/codes, the car will NOT pass smog in its current condition. • Airbag/SRS light is on • A/C does NOT work — heater works • Fuel pump has been replaced • Fuel gauge has an issue: when you fill the tank, it will show full. As the fuel level gets lower, the gauge may not immediately show the correct amount. Once you turn the car off and restart it, the gauge adjusts and shows approximately how much fuel is left. • Aftermarket headlights will be removed and the original factory headlights will be installed before sale • Ignition/key cylinder was replaced, so the ignition key does not unlock the doors • Remote/key fob works and unlocks the driver door 📄 CLEAN TITLE — PINK SLIP IN HAND This is a 2005 with high chassis mileage, so please don’t expect a perfect/new car. I’ve put a lot of money into repairs and maintenance and it has been dependable for me. I’m just ready to move on to something newer. I’m being completely upfront about everything I know about the car so there are no surprises.
