Description

Vintage 1979 Mongoose Supergoose BMX bike has original nickel frame and fork with re-issue decals. The wheels are blue Araya 7Cs laced to Shimano DX hubs with stainless steel spokes. The cranks are chrome Ashtabula with a 130BCD Mongoose spider, Shimano 44t blue chainring, and blue CMC rat trap pedals. The chain is a vintage D.I.D. in nice shape. The brake caliper is a blue Shimano Tourney with a Dia-Compe pre-bent lever. The bars are blue Race Inc., mounted to a blue SR jellybean stem. The frame and bar pads are original Mongoose snap pads; the stem pad is a black Cycle-Pro snap pad. The seatpost is blue fluted alloy; the seat clamp pictured is a blue Xcaliber. I have a blue Mongoose-stamped Suntour I can add for $100.00.
