Top of the line Vintage Akai X-360D with rare Auto Reverse option, wood cabinet, outstanding Crossfield Heads, incomparable vintage Akai design, craftsmanship, attention to detail, fit, finish, parts quality and potential performance. Everything has been tested except for the recording function. The Fast Forward, Rewind, Play in both directions, back lit analogue meters, all works as it should. Please see YouTube video. This has to be one of the heaviest reel to reels I have seen. It has incredible craftsmanship as Akai was making a name for themselves. It is nice cosmetically, with a little bit of pealing to the teak veneer cabinet. Please see pictures. It may need some controls cleaned or even the heads as I did nothing to it.
