Description
For sale is a beautiful coordinating pair of vintage red transferware pieces perfect for display or collectors of church memorabilia and English ironstone. Item 1: Commemorative Plate This 10-inch decorative plate was produced by Kettle Springs Kilns (Alliance, Ohio) for the 1906–2006 Centennial of Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam, Washington. The front features detailed red illustrations of the historic church, main altar, baptismal font, chainsaw-carved altar, convent, and St. Mary’s School, along with a gold rim. The back includes a full pastoral history of the church’s priests from 1906–2004 and the manufacturer’s mark. Note: This plate is for decorative purposes only (as stated by the maker). Item 2: Gravy/Sauce Boat Matching in style and color is a lovely Royal Crownford “Charlotte” pattern ironstone gravy boat made in England. It features a beautiful pink/red floral transferware design with a scalloped base and ornate handle. Marked on the bottom: “Charlotte, Royal Crownford, Ironstone, England” with pattern number 1074P. Perfect Pairing: Both pieces share a lovely red-and-white transferware aesthetic and display beautifully together. Great for collectors of religious/historical memorabilia, Washington state history, or traditional English ironstone. Condition: Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or major wear. Light crazing may be present (typical of older transferware). Please review all photos for details. • Plate: Approximately 10 inches diameter Would make a wonderful gift for someone connected to the Hoquiam/Aberdeen area or a unique addition to a transferware collection.
