I paid $2500 in 1990. Set of (2) Authentic Orignal and Rare Mid-Century Modern Chairs by Roy Eames, the hottest MCM designer. Approx 1960s vintage modern tulip/gull wing design. In excellent condition with very minor surface scratches from normal but very light use. Original tufted comfortable, velour type fabric in excellent condition. The Replica light-weight versions of this style chair with inferior bases selling for $1,800 each! These bases are forged heavy steel fluted machine age design. Very solid and quality made throughout. Pick up in La Jolla. Cash only.
