Ah, 1977- high school, too much free time, and baseball. I was watching the Saturday Game of the Week on NBC during the infamous confrontation between Billy Martin and Reggie Jackson; at first it seemed like they were joking, but when the camera revisited the dugout, Curt Gowdy and Tony Kubek reported otherwise. The NY Yankees 1977 season serves as the backdrop for “The Bronx is Burning,” but there were other events going on in New York at the time which I will not reveal here. What I will say is this docudrama is entertaining, plus it comes new in the box. In case you’re not familiar with East Whittier, look up Costco in La Habra, I live nearby. This is a cash only sale and I don’t ship or deliver.
