Sun & Moon Wall Plaque – Floral Celestial Round Hanging Metal Sign

Two sleeping faces, one gentle sky — this round metal wall plaque, measuring 8 inches / 20 cm in diameter, shows a golden crescent moon with her eyes closed, her hair wound with pastel blossoms in pink, lavender, blue and amber, while beside her a calm sun glows with rays fading from gold into green, teal, violet and rose, all set against a star-dusted black night. It's a quiet piece that makes a room feel softer, suited to a bedroom, a reading nook, an entryway or a meditation corner, and it makes a thoughtful gift for a mother, a friend, or anyone drawn to celestial, bohemian or nature-inspired décor. Crafted in metal with a classic style, it's lightweight with a durable, scratch-resistant printed finish, and the sculpted, dimensional look of the flowers and gold scrollwork is part of the printed artwork; colors may vary slightly between screens and real life. Sun and moon pairings have appeared in art for thousands of years, from ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian carvings to medieval alchemical drawings, where they stood for day and night, light and rest, and balance. Artists in the Art Nouveau era later wrapped celestial figures in flowing hair, blossoms and gold ornament, and this plaque's design follows that tradition. It combines those older symbols with a modern, mandala-inspired floral style, here rendered on metal for a crisp, glossy finish.
