Description
Up for sale is this beautiful, complete 6-year (1(contact info removed)) consecutive annual run of miniature collector plates from The Berta Hummel Museum Miniature Plate Collection! This stunning set was authorized by the legal heirs of Berta Hummel, produced by the renowned manufacturer Schmid, and originally offered through The New England Collectors Society. Each miniature plate beautifully captures the heartwarming, nostalgic holiday art of Berta Hummel, featuring various festive scenes of Christmas angels, children sledding, and seasonal cheer. Every single plate in this 6-piece lot is in absolutely flawless, pristine vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or fading, and each sports its original shimmering gold rim trim! What makes this particular collection an extraordinary find is that it represents a complete, uninterrupted annual sequence spanning from 1975 straight through 1980. Each plate is explicitly dated for its respective year (1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, and 1980) directly on the certified backstamps. These authentic German-made collectibles were crafted in West Germany out of fine porcelain and measure approximately 3.75 to 4 inches in diameter, making them the perfect size for a gorgeous holiday wall arrangement, cabinet display, or a standout addition to an existing Hummel collection. Piece-by-piece, sequential annual collections like this are incredibly difficult to assemble and highly sought after by collectors. Getting the entire consecutive 6-year run at once saves you the time and expense of hunting them down individually, making this complete, ready-to-display lot an absolute bargain. Grab this beautiful nostalgic collection before someone else does! $25 OBO!
