What this table is • Late 19th–early 20th century pedestal table (c. 1880–1910) • White/gray marble slab top (real stone, not composite) • Carved hardwood base (likely walnut or mahogany) • Tripod pedestal with turned center column • Originally used as a parlor table / lamp table / occasional table This exact style was extremely popular in Victorian and early Edwardian homes. The marble is one solid piece no cracks, but does have some surface stains and ware. The wood has never been refinished and does have some nicks and ware marks.
