I used this through grad school. I bought a new MacBook because the laptop now requires to be charged nearly all the time and I don’t have the ability to be outlet dependent for work at all times. The battery is the only issue I’ve had with it. If you plan on using this near an outlet, it should be a great laptop for you! You’ll easily be able to pick up a charger for $20. The hard drive is wiped clean of all my stuff and ready for a new owner. There is a screen protector on it currently and I have used a keyboard protector most of its’ life with me, as well. It will need to be brought to the Apple Store to be restarted and made into your computer from the screen that it is currently stuck on.
