Vintage Franciscan Ivy Earthenware

This is a 52 item set, all but one piece were manufactured in the 40's and 50's. Over the years, I have seen the nicknames for the stamps change. This set is primarily Arch or Half Moon, as seen in photo number 6. The remainder are Made in the USA, as seen in photo number 8. A single buffet plate is Wedgewood stamped., as seen in photo number 7. There are NO: chips, cracks, flea bites, fading of the hand painted design. There are NO repairs. These are in excellent condition. These are being sold local pick up only and sold as a set. Included: (8) dinner plates, 10 3/8" (8) salad plates, 8.5" (8) bread and butter plates, 6 3/8" (2) round veggie service bowls, 8" (1) large oval serving platter, 13" (1) medium oval serving platter, 11" (2) chop plates, 12" (5) 12. Oz. Tumblers, 5" (9) rim soup bowls, 8 5/8" (1) buffet service plate, 11" (this is the Wedgewood piece) (8) fruit bowls, 5.25" (these are sometimes sauce or desert bowls) These took a long time to collect, because I was particular about the stamps. All, but the one Wedgewood, were manufactured by Gladding McBean and Co. The same people who made Catalina pottery.
