Rare Vintage Mid Century Brutalist 3D Wall Relief Sculpture by J. Segura – Matador & Bull

Beautiful and hard-to-find vintage high-relief 3D wall sculpture by J. Segura for Segura Studios Inc., Hialeah, Florida. Circa 1960s/1970s. This is a large statement piece featuring a dramatic Spanish matador and bull scene with deep raised detail, a textured background, and a rich faux-bronze, copper, gold, and dark patina finish. This is not a flat print or ordinary wall décor. It is a molded 3D relief sculpture with real depth, texture, and presence. It has the look of a heavy bronze wall relief but is made of fiberglass/resin composite, making it much easier and safer to hang. Perfect for a Mid-Century Modern, Spanish Revival, Mediterranean, Hollywood Regency, rustic, bar/lounge, office, or eclectic interior. Details: • Signed “J. SEGURA” on the front lower right • Original Segura Studios Inc. foil label on the back • Molded fiberglass / resin composite • Metallic faux-bronze, copper, gold, and dark patina finish • Approx. 35.5” wide x 27.5” high • Original hanging wire attached on the back Condition: Very good vintage condition with strong color, crisp detail, and beautiful texture. No major chips or cracks noticed. Please see all photos, as this is a vintage piece. Comparable signed J. Segura wall relief sculptures are often listed on vintage and designer décor sites for much higher prices, depending on size, subject, and condition.
