Description
Davis Swing Churn (butter churn) patented in 1877 and manufactured by the Vermont Farm Machine Company (Bellows Falls, VT). No. 4 was designed to swing churn 10 gallons of cream into butter in a batch. Double handle butter churn with metal suspension arms from a cross form stand, stencil decorated on the outside of the churn body. Excellent condition as an antique.
