Deion Sanders - Prime Time

Got this album at the original Tower Records here in Portland, OR. It was in the newly developed Gateway Plaza which also housed Tower Books, Great Clips and Jamba Juice. I got word he was in town doing a signing and it was at tower records. I had no idea he had his own album out so I grabbed my only rookie card I had of him and got a ride there from my Mom who had originally tipped me off about his appearance in town. I’ll never forget it. Was such a fun experience. Even though I waited 4 hrs and had to buy his CD to get his autograph (his agent wouldn’t allow him to sign anything but his album — CD or Cassette.) it was a once in a lifetime opportunity not to get the signature but to meet one of my favorite pro athletes let alone football players. He was going to sign the card too, had spun it back across the table to himself so he could and then his agent jumped in—he even fought to let me have it. So cool of him as I was 3rd or 4th in line but the first with actual memorabilia. He could have said sorry kid, either buy the album or scram. But he really did try hardest to allow one piece to be signed and I will never forget that. Prime might come off as all flash and lights but he is a good man and father. Anyway, just thought I’d share my story. IT IS my COA. If you want to send it off to Beckett you can for yourself but I know firsthand of its authenticity. I’m not paying extra for confirmation on an item I know is 100% legit and doesn’t have upper deck value, no pun. With that said, it’s yours for $250 (CD included obviously) Shoot me your offers, anything under $50 will NOT be entertained.
