Selling my Aventon e-bike. Great bike if you want a small project before riding! The battery holds a strong, reliable charge and the motor runs great, but it needs a couple of quick repairs before it's ready to ride: The Brake & Motor Issue: The right front brake lever popped out of place. Because e-bikes have a safety cutoff switch wired into the brakes, this currently prevents the motor from engaging, so it just needs that lever and line re-secured to get power back to the throttle. The Kickstand: The kickstand mounting bracket underneath needs attention/re-bolting. Cosmetics: The frame and rear rack along with seat have some cosmetic scratches and wear from daily commuting, as shown in the photos. Charger Included: I’m throwing in the original Aventon charger for free. Note that it has a small crack near the cord housing, but it still plugs in, powers up, and charges the battery fine (though you may want to grab a replacement down the road). Asking $700 OBO.
