The opening sits below the raised outer rim, so it can remain underneath a properly supported tabletop. No additional metal cutting is needed for the side-table idea. To finish: clean it up, add clear rubber or silicone support pads around the upper rim, and fit a suitable round tempered-glass tabletop with finished edges. A roughly 20-inch top would give it a modest overhang. Make sure the top sits level and securely supported. Glass and pads are not included. Keep the brewery graphics and worn metal finish for character, or polish it to suit your space. Has scratches, scuffs and discoloration as shown.
