This cello is ready to play! I mainly play bass, but I picked up this cello on a lark while my niece was learning cello in orchestra. She's switched to bass now, and I don't see myself spending much time with it anymore. It's in good shape, is easy to play, and gets a nice sound. It has a dent in the bottom side, but nothing that affects the sound or requires repair. The bridge is warped somewhat, but that doesn't cause any problems as far as I can tell. In other words, this is a solid starter instrument. Includes bow, stand, and soft case.
