Now adapted by Clifford Bax. Pauly is an opera performed in 1777 with text by John Gay, long after his death in 1732. It is a sequel to his “The Beggar’s Opera” and continues the adventures of Polly Peachum, now in the West Indies. ** bonus item included. We have an actual playbill from The Playhouse Theater (10 S. Michigan Avenue). By arrangement with the Lyric Theater, Hammersmith, London, and The Bicentennial Tour of America. New settings of the Airs and additional music by Frederick Austin.
