Classic VW Beetle Baja Bug Project – Early Model

Classic Volkswagen Beetle Baja Bug project for sale. Owner started converting the car into a Baja Bug but stopped before completing the project. The body has already been cut at the front and rear for a Baja-style conversion. This is a major restoration/build project and is being sold in its current condition. Includes the VW Beetle body/shell, doors, some glass and additional parts shown in the photos. Body has surface rust and areas that will need metal/body work. Interior is stripped and the car will need substantial work to complete. No engine included. The Chevy engine visible in some photos is a separate item and is not included with the Beetle. Exact model year has not been verified, as we have not been able to locate/confirm the chassis serial number. Based on the body characteristics, it appears to be an earlier Beetle, but buyer should verify the exact year. Good candidate for someone looking to build a Baja Bug, off-road VW, desert car, custom Beetle or restoration project.
