Vintage Korean Hahoe Mask Art Pair – Hollywood Prop House Apropos Interiors – TV/Film Set Dressing

Rare matched pair of vintage framed Korean traditional mask displays formerly from Apropos Interiors, the North Hollywood film and television prop house associated with longtime Hollywood set decorator Mary Ann Biddle. Both pieces retain their original Apropos Interiors, 6934 Tujunga Ave., North Hollywood labels on the reverse and have consecutive handwritten prop inventory numbers: AI PC 00656 AI PC 00657 The displays feature miniature traditional Korean masks, including Hahoe and other Korean theatrical mask characters. These pieces were acquired in 2025 from the estate of longtime film/television industry professionals in Encino, California. Other items at the estate included identifiable television set pieces. Because Apropos Interiors supplied set dressing to the entertainment industry, these pieces may have been used in a film or television production. However, the specific production in which these masks appeared has not been independently verified, and they are therefore being sold as former Hollywood prop-house inventory rather than as confirmed screen-used props.
