Never used and is in its original packaging. As far as I know, the box has been only opened for these pictures. I apologize in advance for not being an audiophile. I am posting this for my friend, so if you ask me anything about its specs or parameters, I would not know. It was initially purchased for a research project my friend was involved in and billed to a different department in the institute, so we do not have the original receipt. The project ended up not needing it, and my friend got this unit as a thank you gift for his contribution. We decided to sell this unit because we want someone who can actually appreciate it to have and make good use of it (for your reference, we both think AirPods Pro could be the best earphones in this whole world, and the reason we have not even test run this unit is that we have no idea if it is supposed to work with our laptops). So yes, there is no original receipt, but this is an authentic set, as we are sure of. If you know a good way to check its authenticity (e.g., serial number, whatever number) or if you know a place where an authorized third party could check it, we will happily do so and provide all the required information. Plus, we did some research ourselves, and it seems that nobody is making fakes for this flagship product for obvious cost-benefit reasons. We also believe that if you buy a second-hand unit on eBay, you don't get to ask for its original receipt. EDIT: we just talked to an audiophile, and it is confirmed that THERE ARE NO FAKES IN THE MARKET FOR THIS PRODUCT. We understand your skepticism, we do, and honestly, I would too, but we have also provided all the information we got. We will keep this unit in this current state for another few months. If nobody is interested or if more random guys on FB who only sell $6-per-pack 'new' underwear call us out as liars with 'I'll pay $50 to the liars,' we will have to educate ourselves to become audiophiles and compromise this unit, which is the last thing we want to do. Pickup only in the Mission Bay/Dogpatch area. The price is negotiable, but please be reasonable. HMU if interested. Thank you! If
