Excellent experience buying a 2013 Mercedes-Benz E-350

I had an excellent experience purchasing my 2013 Mercedes-Benz E-350 from Armadillo Auto Sales. The process was smooth, transparent, and pressure-free from start to finish.

Brian was professional and easy to work with, and Husam was outstanding during the test drive — very knowledgeable about Mercedes vehicles and happy to answer questions without any pressure.

The car was exactly as described, drove beautifully, and the entire transaction felt honest and fair.

I purchased a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Armadillo Auto Sales, owned by Todd Sanderson, and put Cash Down. Within the first day, the vehicle developed electrical issues and the transmission began jerking. I contacted Todd immediately and returned the vehicle. At that time, I was clearly told I would receive my full down payment back.

When I followed up for the refund, I was only given a portion of it, and Todd claimed he withheld the remaining amount for a “pet hair detailing fee.” I do not own any pets, and the vehicle was returned in the same condition it was sold to me. That fee was not legitimate—it was simply used as a reason to keep part of my money after the vehicle was returned due to mechanical problems.

This wasn’t handled with honesty or professionalism. The dealership refused to take responsibility for a vehicle that clearly had issues from the start, and instead tried to shift blame and keep a portion of the down payment.

I have already documented the communication and will be filing formal complaints with the Washington State Attorney General, the FTC, and proceeding with Small Claims Court to recover the remaining balance plus filing costs.

Anyone considering doing business here should be aware of how this situation was handled and make an informed decision

Update: After returning the vehicle due to mechanical issues and being told I would receive my down payment back, the dealership initially issued a partial refund. As of today, Armadillo Auto Sales and owner Todd Sanderson have reversed that refund, leaving me with none of my down payment returned.

To be clear:
•	The vehicle was returned immediately.
•	I was told my down payment would be refunded.
•	The dealership first gave back only part of it.
•	And has now pulled that refund back entirely.

This means the dealership has now kept my down payment while also having the vehicle back in their possession.
There is no justification for this, and it is now being documented and reported as fraudulent withholding of funds.

I am updating this review to ensure the public is accurately informed.

I’d been looking to get an older Land Rover LR3. All the ones I had looked at previously, with descriptions like ‘looks and runs great’ and ‘no mechanical problems’ turned out to be nothing but beat up and barely running.

There was one more I wanted to try, listed at Armadillo Auto Sales. It was a little more expensive, but it looked great and from the description online, it actually had records to back it up. We headed down a couple days later and were immediately greeted by Husam and Garret.

My wife, who never brings a jacket anywhere, even in February in the PNW, was freezing so she went inside where Husam made sure she had a hot chocolate, her favorite drink, while I checked out the LR3. We took it for a short test drive and everything looked good. But instead of trying to push me inside to sign on the dotted line, they let me go over the truck, checking everything, even gave me a tape measure so I could check if the air suspension was keeping the truck level.

Finally, there was still one small problem. I wasn’t sold on the color. I wanted a black one and this LR3 was white. Can’t really get much farther from black than that… So I asked if they could take me for another test drive. Instead of getting up to go back out with me, Husam handed my wife a jacket and told us to go out with the truck and take our time coming back. Thanks to that, my wife convinced me that I wanted it (and if I couldn’t get used to the white, SHE would gladly drive it 🤣).

We sat down with Husam and a short while later, paperwork was signed, hands were shook and my wife was following me to lunch in my new Land Rover.

If you’re looking for a place to buy a good, used vehicle, give these guys a shot. We had a great experience. Oh yeah, they also really like veterans and will take good care of you.

Great car-buying experience 2014 corolla. Husam Isbaih is a great person and friendly who helped me with all the process in buying my car. He also went beyond spending his time in switching my previous expensive insurance to cheapest one. Greatly appreciate his work . Definitely would recommend buying car at this dealership
