Update: VD apologized when I messaged them on Facebook saying this shouldn't have happened since I was already walking around with it. The following day I saw another one posted on Instagram amd called right away. I was able to pay for it over the phone so they can hold it for me. I'm glad things worked out in the end 😅

As much as I love Valley Discount, I'm giving it a 4 star (3 just feels to low considering we've saved a good thousand or more shopping with them this year). Following on social media is great to keep tabs on what's new, however I did not know we could pay for things over the phone or else I would have called it in right away to hold an item since I was just 4 minutes away leaving the dr office. I figured if it was there, it was meant to be. Normally I'm 15-20 minutes away so when I found it, I was so excited. I've been here so often that I already could tell where it was going to be. It was hard to believe!

I found the perfect christmas present for my husband and grabbed it, ready to check out. The lady at the register (while on the phone) apologized and said someone just bought it over the phone. I really wish VD would pull the item first, so no one is happily shopping around thinking they scored the perfect item 😭

Went in to pick up a soft serve ice cream machine and they honored the price I had seen the day before when they had a sale on it. Staff was super friendly and helpful will definitely be back

I went looking for a toilet. It was unsuccessful a lot of the toilets they have in the boxes. Have no pictures, it's difficult to find the measurements. Some of the toilets were 50 bucks, 20 bucks, but they were only part of the toilet. The bowl, the back tank, the top lid me personally, I would rather just pay a little extra and go to home depot, but they have other stuff, furniture sinks vanities and other other stuff, electronics and whatnot that have, you know, illustrations on the box, so you might invest your thing, you might want to check it out, but in the way of bathtubs and toilets, I would rather just  Extra and go to home depot, preferably Lowe's home and garden and for those kind of needs, the furniture they had was nice. I thought it was high-priced myself. There was a really nice modern Oakwood table for I think it was 500 bucks, I mean, you could find a similar table at a yard sale or a goodwill, a nice goodwill in an upscale neighborhood, so fifty-fifty for this place.

I’ve bought a few things from Valley discount sometimes you do fine good stuff but I wish their customer service was way better. I called to check availability an item. They posted on Facebook and wanted to make sure if it was a complete set which will it take her maybe two minutes to verify for me to purchase it over the phone and pick it up when I get off work she did not want to go do that Verify it for me she told me I could come after work and look at it myself. That’s literally Letting the money leave the store
