Today I visited Woodbridge public auto Auction.  It was A very good visit my brother was looking for a car we test drove three vehicles my brother was sold on the third car but Sully said he had another car he wanted my brother to see when they pulled up it was a smaller Hundi it was the perfect car clean good tires and it driver's excellent. I have bought two vehicle from this  location and they are outstanding. I go all the way from upstate New York to buy vehicle from them. You can ask as many questions About the vehicles, they’ll let you know exactly what you are buying. The staff are professionals and very friendly. If you need help, ask for SULLY, He is extremely helpful. I definitely owe him a Kebab platter on my next visit. Lol may Allah bless you!

Overall, I had a good experience the Vehicles I was looking at we’re all in really good shape. The dealership is not very forthcoming with information so you need to ask a lot of questions. I would suggest bringing a Mechanic or someone mechanically savvy if you are seriously considering purchasing a vehicle. They do offer a test drive of the vehicle and they give you a route to drive along, but it is a short route so I would do a few laps on that route and try to drive for about 10-15 minutes at least to make sure the vehicle runs smoothly. And negotiate the price especially if the vehicle has been there for a few weeks worst they can do is say no, and the person that you are negotiating with make sure you get the agreed price in writing.

Woodbridge Public Auto Auction is an excellent used car dealership. The managers and staff are honest and helpful and are people of ethics and integrity. Even during the weekly auction, they take time to explain the status of each vehicle and not hide anything. Even if you don't buy a car, the auction managers make your visit worthwhile with their jokes and good humor. And, unlike some other auctions in the DMV area, you actually can test drive the car before the auction date. It's actually a no pressure place to shop for a used vehicle.
I'd give Woodbridge a 9.5 out of a possible 10. Excellent organization.

Take your chances with this place. I did. Twice. The first time I purchased a car from here, it was an inexpensive, successful purchase. I kept the previous car for a good while. I returned on Saturday, October 4, 2025 to purchase another vehicle. My takeaways ...

1.  I was the very first customer on the lot that morning. I had already browsed their website to locate the type of car I wanted. I purchased a manual shift car which they didn't have a large selection of because today's weaklings can't drive what they call, "The 3 Pedal Car." I'm a Gen Xer who grew up driving vehicles with the shifter on the steering column. Steering wheel pedal shifters is not classic manual driving. I call that "video game" driving and I know how to do both. 😄😄😄

2.  I thought there would be more of a negotiation but there wasn't. I asked the guy if we could negotiate the price down from $4,450 and all he did was take a couple hundred bucks off only to add it right back on with fees and stuff. Classic salesman markup. In addition to that, they wanted me to go on their website to put a $300 deposit on the car when I was already standing right there in front of them to purchase it outright. I feel like I was extorted for real. And they want an additional $415 fee for the title, registration, and tags. Highway robbery is what that is and when it all adds up, I paid more for that car than it was priced.

3.  The car visibly looks like it is in great condition, is clean on the inside and outside, however, there will be work that needs to go into it. When I asked, "Why did this car fail inspection?" They glazed over the issues not getting into the details or showing me the information on the documents so that I could make an informed decision on whether or not I'd like to invest in that particular vehicle or choose something else. I personally don't like automatic vehicles. I'll drive a stick until they're no longer made.

4.  Honestly, I shouldn't have paid the price that I paid for that car. The repair bill is extensive. The only reason I did is because I have a child that I have to shuttle to and from school, pick up groceries, take us all to appointments, and stuff which costs our family more money when we're having to take the metro bus and rail to do all of the errands. So it's the "MoM" car. 😊😁😄

5.  I'm grateful for the opportunity to have purchased another vehicle, however, the fact that this car already has 157,000+ miles on the odometer should have warranted a significant price decrease.

6.  Having the salesman say, "We have to make money too," with a plethora of vehicles on the lot, a packed auction room of buyers, while other finance their vehicles, and them having a minimal amount of choices for manual shift drivers like myself kind of left me with limited options, and I'll reiterate that I felt extorted.

All in all, I honestly don't believe I'll be returning to this establishment to purchase another vehicle in the future. I'll be returning to the nearby Brentwood Auto Auction where I purchased my very first car for $485 bucks and she lasted me 10+ years before having to buy my second car from Woodbridge Auto Auction for four times the price and it didn't last as long as my first car. I'm a person who gives second chances, however, they've disappointed me big time.
