Applying the fertilizer mix is easy and hassle-free: For containers: Mix 2 tablespoons of dry veggie fertilizer per gallon of soil or potting mix before planting new containers. For existing containers, sprinkle 1 tablespoon per 4-inch pot diameter. For garden beds: Work dry plant food into the top 4 inches of soil, using 1 cup per 25 square feet. Note! For tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, and other plants with high nutrient needs, use 1 cup per 20 square feet. For optimal results, we recommend fertilizing your plants every 4-6 weeks, as directed by the label. With multiple feedings per season, you can ensure your plants receive the best nutrients.
