*Solid walnut for the legs, face frames, drawer fronts, and other visible structural pieces. * Walnut veneer over hardwood-core plywood for the large flat surfaces like the desktop and side panels. * Turned legs, which were popular on Colonial Revival and traditional furniture. * Seven-drawer layout (three drawers on each pedestal plus a center pencil drawer). * Pull-out writing slides on both sides * Applied moldings and simple, traditional hardware. It was likely built in the 1940s to early 1960s.
