Vintage brass and copper hearth scuttle. This wonderful large bucket was used to keep the ashes and coals out of the way until they were to be disposed of. Complete with the traditional lion head details on both sides of the attached handle. Handle moves so you can put it down to its side. About 18" x 14" x 18" Originally from Denmark Have seen it sell for $120+ on store sites
