This is an original 1960s/1970s authorized historical reproduction poster of the famous 1917 Barnum & Bailey Circus lithograph advertising the "Big New Free Parade." This stunning horizontal poster features full dimensions of 24" x 16" and is printed on an ultra-premium, heavy textured card stock sheet that is perfect for custom framing or leaning display.Masterfully designed originally by the legendary Strobridge Lithographing Co., the central graphic showcases a massive, ornate portrait of a royal parade elephant in fully jeweled festival dress, accented by guards in traditional turbans and a sprawling street processional in the background. Most importantly, the lower margin border features the authentic vintage corporate line: "This Poster is part of a collection donated to the Circus World Museum in Baraboo, Wis. by the Jos. Condition Details:The poster is in great original vintage condition. The primary red, teal, and gold inks are exceptionally rich, deep, and entirely free from sun fading or color washing. The heavy paper card stock is clean, stiff, and structurally sound. It shows very minor handling metrics consistent with its age, including faint corner creasing and small pinholes strictly confined to the outermost white borders from previous display. There are no major center graphic tears or water stains.
