Description

D. F. Meader & Co. 1880s Antique Dresser Established in 1860, D. F. Meader & Company was a furniture manufacturer and retailer in Cincinnati, Ohio, owned and operated by Daniel F. Meader. The company was one of the oldest, most reliable, and most renowned furniture houses in Cincinnati or the West, known for the variety and quality of its workmanship. Hardwoods used were usually walnut and elm. This dresser has been in the family since the 1880s, perhaps a bit earlier so it shows its age. Dimensions of the dresser: 42 inches wide 42 inches high 23 inches deep Dovetailed drawers
