1910. New York. P.F. Collier and Sons, Publishers. All volumes are in Near Fine to Very Good, unread condition. Complete in 51 volumes. Red cloth boards, with gold embossed lettering on the spines is very visible. No owners bookplates or markings. Charles Eliot was the President of Harvard University from 1869 to 1909. He often used to cite that if a person spent 15 minutes-a-day aside for reading, one could get a liberal education, like that of Harvard, for free. He cited that such books would sit comfortably on a five-foot shelf.
