IT HAS BEEN TAKEN DOWN, UNINSTALLED OR REMOVED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER AND PROPERLY STORED AWAY. IT WORKS, THE ETCHED GLASS IS CLEAN AND FREE OF ANY DAMAGE. NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. SAME WITH THE WHITE METAL. NO DENTS OR SUGNS OF ANY DAMAGE. IT’S A PERFECT CIRCLE, IF IT WAS NOT THEN THE GLASS WOULDN’T FIT. FINDING A 2GX13 BASE WITH A T5-C SHAPE IS MOST LIKELY NOT AT YOUR LOCAL HARDWARE STORE. YOU WILL HAVE MORE SUCCESS ORDERING IT ONLINE, SINCE IT IS AN UNUSUAL FLUORESCENT BULB. IT WORKS FINE. HOWEVER I NOTICED THAT THERE ARE TWO CLAMPS OR BULB HOLDERS OR BULB SUPPORTS THAT APPEAR TO HAVE BUSTED OFF. THESE ARE JUST TO KEEP THE BULB SNUG AND MORE SECURE. BUT THE BULB STILL WORKS FINE WITHOUT THEM ONCE MOUNTED. THE BASE LOCKS IN THE BULB PRETTY GOOD. ALSO I NOTICED SOME TINY LITTLE BROWN SPOTTING AROUND THE ENTIRE METAL PART ONLY ON THE OUTSIDE. I BELIEVE THAT THESE ARE INSECT CARCASSES OR POSSIBLY SPIDER DROPPINGS. I WILL GIVE IT A GOOD WIPE DOWN BUT IT STILL MAY NEED TO BE WELL SCRUBBED OR CLEANED, POSSIBLY RE-PAINTED IF IT BOTHERS YOU ENOUGH. THE SPOTS ARE SO TINY YOU REALLY CANNOT EVEN NOTICE THEM ONCE THE LIGHT FIXTURE IS MOUNTED TO THE CEILING. I TOOK A FEW CLOSE-UPS OF THESE TINY BROWN SPOTS SO THAT YOU CAN VIEW EXACTLY WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT IN THE VERY LAST PHOTO, PHOTO #24.
