Midcentury Wood Bench

Striking and spacious, this 85” bench features a solid wood top in warm walnut tones with dark-stained leg and support detailing. A rare extra-long version of the classic mid-century platform bench design, it offers seating for 3–4 adults and functions beautifully as an entry bench, hallway statement piece, or even behind a sofa. Clean lines and solid craftsmanship suggest studio or small-batch production. The bench is in excellent vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age but no structural issues. All-wood quality hints at a maker with fine woodworking experience, possibly custom or small‑batch vintage. Design echoes George Nelson–style benches, but no maker’s mark is shown.
