Antique Russian Brass Charcoal Samovar Tula Imperial Style 20” Tall Marked 1629

Antique Russian-style brass charcoal samovar with ornate detailing and a large traditional form. Measures approximately 20” tall and about 14” wide across the handles. Features a faceted brass body, decorative pierced trim, dark wooden handles/knobs, four-footed base, removable top, central charcoal/fire tube, and side spigot. The base is stamped with the number 1629, and there are additional faint/worn maker or factory markings present. This is a traditional charcoal/wood-fired samovar, not electric. The central chimney and internal grate are intact and visible. Condition: Antique pre-owned condition with age-related wear, scratches, tarnish, patina, oxidation, discoloration, and interior soot/residue consistent with age and previous use. Some areas have been polished while others retain original patina. The maker markings are worn and difficult to read. The spigot is present, but the faucet key/turning handle appears to be missing. Item has not been tested for heating or water-tightness and is being sold as a collectible/decorative antique. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition, markings, measurements, and completeness. Due to age and construction, expect normal imperfections associated with an antique samovar.
