Omni turn conversion kit CNC lathe Uses Hardinge Lathe Base with Omni turn controller and slide 220v 3phase 2hp motor 5” z travel 10” x travel Custom .625” center height Misc tool posts included Oil/coolant Mister included 5c spindle and draw tube with 1” thru spindle Threaded spindle nose Rough footprint of 80” wide X 48” deep Omniturns are great controllers, simple to program, hold +/-.001” all day. Uses gang style tool posts. Servo motors. They can be either a hobby or production machine running aluminum, delrin, brass and steels. This machine has run mostly aluminum and some brass while I’ve had it. Machine is currently powered and can demo. No forklift on site, but is light enough to slide up a steel tilt deck trailer with ease. I will have a second omni conversion for sale shortly, just need to finish cleaning it!
