CHROME 8 Ball PéTANQUE / Bocce Boules Lawn Game Set

CHROME 8 Ball PéTANQUE French lawn game set housed in a wooden carrying case with a padded blue interior foam liner. Shows some wear including scuffs and surface marks consistent with age and use. How the Game Works • The Target: The game begins by tossing a small wooden target ball—known as a cochonnet (French for "little pig") or jack—a short distance away. Features of This Specific Set • Grooved Markings: The lines carved into the chrome finish are not just for decoration. Different groove patterns allow players to easily identify which balls belong to which player or team during a match. • The Wooden Case: This particular configuration is typical of a high-quality recreational or vintage set from the 1980s or 1990s, designed to safely store and transport the heavy metal balls.
