The wood was carefully salvaged from an old-growth residential Farmstead demolition right here in Swansea, SC. This is incredibly heavy, dense, rot -resistant heart pine. It is built using true dimensional 2x4s (full 2-inch thickness, not modern downsized lumber) for maximum strength and a unique historic look. Beautiful natural grain and deep coloration.
